Giganti-Hand Accused of Butt Grabbery
Posted Tuesday, January 30 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
SEATTLE, WA – Earlier this week a small group of local children took part in an area attraction where they found a variety of entertaining things to see and do, but the tide ebbed from fun to alarming when more than one of them alleged that an oversized, hand-shaped chair palmed them on their very real, human butts.

Auntie Struggles to Salvage Eternal Souls
Posted Monday, January 29 @ 02:00:00 PST by Dominic
Imagine, if you can, having an aunt. Not just an aunt, but a really great aunt. Not a true "great aunt", but rather an aunt who's really great. Now imagine you're me, that yours is Aunt Tricia, and that she really is as great as all that, maybe even more so, and that she doesn't just love you, but fears more for your eternal soul than you can even know of it as it may exist yourself.

KidsQuest Museum Makes Factoria a Kid/Parent Tourist Destination
Posted Friday, January 26 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
Factoria is an overlooked neighborhood of whatever big city it is in, which is probably Bellevue, Washington. In any case it doesn't have a whole lot that's noteworthy, and certainly not to the all important birth-to-ten demographic so coveted by marketing folks these days. This may have been true in the past, but the KidsQuest Children's Museum changes it all with style and fun and all of it is super affordable at that.

Global Warming Theory Defeated by Poor Naming Policy
Posted Thursday, January 25 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
I'm no scientist of atmospheric or any other sort of ilk, but I do know what I see and experience myself, as well as what I hear and research on my own. This whole "Global Warming" theory, I'm certain, is a total myth. "Climate Change", on the other hand, appears as frighteningly real as it does unpredictably uncertain.

Microwave Ideal for Thawing, Less So for AA Batteries
Posted Wednesday, January 24 @ 02:00:00 PST by Dominic
As any dweller of a home can agree, there are a vast array of devices designed to beep, boop and be-de-bop upon as little as the pressing of a number of buttons on the face. I don't personally have any buttons on my face, but if I did, I'd know how great it is to have my numbers and/or letters poked, but in the mean time, it's all about sticking stuff in the microwave and setting it into motion… even if it is just a pack of batteries.

Recanted Re-Can-Too! (AKA Google's a Big Meany)
Posted Tuesday, January 23 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
We've had a love/hate relationship with Google over the years. At times we've loved them, at others we've hated them, but all the while they've returned our affection with total and unwavering indifference. It's like a famous uncle who won't return your calls, we run hot and cold but that dog don't hunt.

NW Puppet Center Shows 'Crane & Turtle: Images of China'
Posted Monday, January 22 @ 02:00:00 PST by Brendan
Last week we had a chance to go by one of our favorite haunts, the Northwest Puppet Center, and check out their latest show, "Crane & Turtle: Images of China" put on by Dragon Arts Studio. All the shows at Northwest Puppet Center are of the not-to-be-missed ilk, but this was really unique.
